Chris joined the DeLeon & Stang team in October 2026 as an In-Charge Auditor, bringing several years of experience in the accounting field. He primarily works with nonprofit organizations, helping them navigate their annual audits by reviewing financial information, identifying potential risks, and ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant.
Chris describes himself as dependable and enjoys the attention to detail and problem-solving that come with his work. His interest in accounting began in college, where taking a few accounting courses sparked his interest in the field and ultimately led him to change his major to Accounting. His favorite professional quote is, “Trust, but verify,” which reflects his approach to his work.
Originally from Martinsburg, WV, Chris now resides in Falling Waters, WV, with his wife, Maddie. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, watching soccer, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends and family.
