Every year, clients start the tax preparation process by signing the Annual Engagement Letter. You may view and sign this document online through your “Aiwyn” account.

We use the program “TaxCaddy” to gather your tax documentation online.

If you have a TaxCaddy account connected with our firm, you will receive a personalized questionnaire and a document request list to help us gather everything needed to prepare your return for the upcoming tax year.

• Through TaxCaddy’s secure messaging feature, you can also provide notes or ask questions to your accountant directly.

Please note: If you have not used TaxCaddy with our firm before, you will need to request an invitation link from us before uploading documents. We will not be able to view any files in your account until your TaxCaddy account is connected to our firm.

We use “SafeSend Returns” to deliver your completed tax return and collect electronic signatures for e-file authorization forms.

The SafeSend review & signature process will allow you to:

• Review & download your tax return

• Sign your e-file authorization forms

• View relevant tax payment instructions

• Access any applicable vouchers

Once your tax return is ready, you’ll receive an email from noreply@safesendreturns.com with a secure link to access your documents. A DeLeon & Stang team member will also follow up to provide guidance and be available to help you through the process.

Invoices for tax services are generated and sent via email 1-3 days after the signed E-file Authorization forms have been returned to our team.
