Tax Manager

Charles joined the DeLeon & Stang team in August 2026 as a Tax Supervisor, bringing several years of tax accounting experience to the firm. He primarily supports the firm’s business clients with their tax needs, while his background as a tax generalist has given him experience working with a variety of business types, as well as individual, estate, and trust taxation. Charles strives to keep open lines of communication with his clients and provide proactive support so there are fewer surprises when tax time comes around.

Charles describes himself as an “extroverted accountant” who enjoys working hard, taking on new challenges, and finding solutions to complex problems. He was drawn to accounting because taxes affect everyone, and he enjoys helping individuals and businesses navigate their complexities. He also appreciates the problem-solving side of the profession and the opportunity to solve what he calls “accounting mysteries.” His favorite quote is, “Life’s greatest victories aren’t about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Originally from Knoxville, TN, Charles now resides in Sykesville, MD, with his wife of 17 years and their two cats.
