I began as a tax intern in 2019 during my last semester at Shepherd University. I had no prior experience in public accounting, but the team atmosphere at D&S enabled me to jump right in. I immediately felt like a part of the team and was able to gain hands-on experience in a variety of different matters. D&S preaches their team atmosphere in addition to their core values and I’ve never experienced a company who truly abides by their core values as much as D&S. D&S puts its people first, and the flexibility is what I would assume to be rare which may be one of the best things about working at D&S. I am thankful for the support from D&S as I have begun my career in accounting, and I can’t wait to see what my future holds at D&S.
