Staff Auditor
John joined the DeLeon & Stang team in October 2026 as a Staff Auditor, bringing several years of accounting experience to the firm. He primarily works with nonprofit organizations, helping ensure their financial statements are accurate and meet financial reporting and compliance requirements. Through his work, John helps support transparency and accountability, allowing organizations to stay focused on their missions.
John describes himself as trustworthy, patient, eager to learn, and dedicated. His interest in accounting began at a young age, inspired by his dad, who was a CPA. Following in his father's footsteps, John decided to pursue a career in accounting and enjoys the opportunities the field provides to continue learning and growing.
Originally from Damascus, MD, John now resides in Clarksburg, MD. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hitting the golf course, and cooking.
