Jacob Montgomery

Staff Accountant

Jacob joined the DeLeon & Stang team in May 2024, starting as an Audit & Tax Intern before transitioning into his current role as a Staff Accountant. In his role, he helps prepare client tax returns and supports day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for business clients, making sure their financials stay organized, accurate, and compliant. 

Jacob is highly motivated and always willing to take on new challenges. Being adaptable, disciplined, and maintaining a strong work ethic are important to him, and he enjoys the problem-solving side of accounting that comes with the job. His favorite quote is, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do,” by Steve Jobs, which reflects his approach to both work and learning. 

Originally from Walkersville, MD, Jacob enjoys staying active outside of the office. In his free time, he likes watching sports—especially basketball—strength training, and hanging out with friends. He played basketball at Lebanon Valley College while in school.
