Cindy Ash
Tax Manager
Cindy joined the DeLeon & Stang team in January 2026 as a Tax Manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She primarily works with high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on estate, gifting, and fiduciary consulting and compliance. Cindy helps clients thoughtfully manage their tax responsibilities both now and for the future.
Cindy describes herself as a good listener, an enthusiastic learner, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. She was drawn to accounting because tax law is constantly changing and often misunderstood, and she wanted the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives—both for her clients and her own family. Her favorite quote is a paraphrase of the Stockdale Paradox,
“Confront the full reality of your current situation while maintaining unwavering faith that you will ultimately prevail."
Cindy grew up moving around the Midwest before her family eventually settled in Orange County, California during her middle school years. She currently resides in Frederick, MD, with her three children and two cats. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys reading and watching a wide variety of books and movies—and loves discussing them with anyone willing to join the conversation.
