Brett joined the DeLeon and Stang team in 2006. While he has served in many different roles over the years his current role is Chief Strategy & Growth Officer. In addition to being part of the DeLeon and Stang CPAs & Advisors leadership team, he is also a managing member of D&S Wealth Management Group and D&S Insurance Solutions. His expertise includes a focus on the tax and financial planning areas for individuals and corporations.
Brett is dedicated to helping his clients reach their goals and achieve the most efficient tax liability. With a focus on long-term success, he takes the time to create relationships with prospects and referral partners and identify which team is the right fit for each client.
Regarded by his friends and co-workers as friendly and outspoken, Brett attributes his success to his financial awareness, his competitive nature, and his strong work ethic. He knows how important it is to maintain a positive mindset while pursuing one’s goals. As his favorite quote says, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.” He grew up in Gaithersburg and currently resides in North Potomac, Maryland, with his wife and their son and daughter. He enjoys the proximity of his home to the D.C. metropolitan area. Brett is a passionate D.C. sports fan who enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
