Addie Blickenstaff, CPA
Audit Manager
Addie joined DeLeon & Stang in 2017, bringing along three years of experience as a Staff Accountant. She is currently an Audit Manager in the firm’s Attest Department, specializing in performing audit and attest services for nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance. Addie serves as primary client contact and is responsible for overall engagement management, including identifying and addressing problems, mentoring and training staff as well as guiding and teaching through technical challenges, all while maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
She was inspired to pursue a career in the accounting industry by a wonderful high-school accounting teacher who taught her to love the subject and boosted her motivation to further pursue it in college. Addie attributes her success to the great and consistent support that she has received from her family, friends, and loved ones.
Originally from Sharpsburg, Maryland, Addie currently resides in Hagerstown, Maryland with her husband, two daughters, and dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, gardening, or anything, as long as she’s with her daughters, Rose and Wren.
