Aaron Pifer

Tax Manager

Aaron joined DeLeon & Stang in 2022 and serves as a tax supervisor for the firm. His specialties include tax preparation for businesses and individuals. He also provides business consulting services to professional service consultants, government contractors, and trade contractors.

Aaron started his accounting career in 2004. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting & Finance. Before DeLeon and Stang, Aaron worked with Yount, Hyde & Barbour, CPA, P.C. for 8 years. He is most proud of his ability to develop strategies to improve processes and assist with long-term growth plans for small to mid-size businesses. He was inspired to go into accounting because of an internship at a local telecommunications business. The challenging daily operations of a small business are what sparked his interest. Aaron’s strengths include being a great listener, goal-driven, detail-oriented, and a team player. 

Aaron grew up in Strasburg, VA, but now resides in Winchester, VA, with his wife, Abbey, his daughters Jasmine, Naomi, and Eleanor, and their beloved pets, Fritz & Finn. He enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and watching Virginia Tech sports.
