RETIRED PARTNERS

Honoring The Legacy of Those Who Built Deleon & Stang

We wouldn’t be where we are today without our past partners’ hard work and brilliance. We must honor their foundational legacy and acknowledge their part in making DeLeon & Stang the firm it is today. Their contributions will have a long-lasting impact on both the company today and in the future.

Al DeLeon

Retired Founding Partner

Having founded DeLeon & Stang (D&S) 37 years ago, with my partner Richard Stang, I spent many years serving clients and growing the firm into what it is today, Even though D&S was much smaller in the early days, I knew we would grow and prosper. I tried to grow D&S into a firm our clients could trust, our employees would enjoy working for and a firm which would embrace technology. In fact, our mission statement, Serving financial lives with trust Integrity and innovation, grew out of these early principles, and was fine tuned by our partners and staff. We always devoted time toward developing and updating our strategy, striving to keep up with the times. I am proud of D&S and know that it will continue to prosper under the next generation of leadership.

Retired in December 2020, I have been spending my time volunteering on various non profit Boards of Directors, lending my time and talent to organizations which need help. I am enjoying spending time with my four kids and four grand kids. Golf has always been an important part of my life, and so I am devoting time to playing golf, and even joined the Board of a golf association. I am still active in AICPA and Maryland CPA Association. Even finding time to do a little consulting work.
