DeLeon & Stang Welcomes Doug Carpenter to the Team

FREDERICK, MD, Nov 22, 2024—DeLeon & Stang is pleased to announce that Doug Carpenter will join the firm as a Tax Manager for the Business Tax Team on December 5, 2024. With over a decade of experience in tax compliance and advisory services, Doug will bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the firm.

As a graduate of Elon University, Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a licensed CPA. He provides business tax services across a wide range of industries, ensuring he delivers exceptional value to his clients.

Doug chose DeLeon & Stang because of the firm’s commitment to independence and its dedication to providing certainty for both employees and clients alike. Having experienced firsthand the challenges that acquisitions can create, he was drawn to the firm’s clear focus on stability, growth, and the cultivation of long-term relationships. Outside of work, Doug is an active sports enthusiast and leader in his community. He played rugby in college and now coaches youth and high school sports, including football, wrestling, and lacrosse. He even serves as the youth commissioner for Oakdale Football. When not coaching, Doug enjoys golfing, fishing, surfing, and spending time with his wife of 10 years and their two children.
