DeLeon & Stang Announces New Staff Accountant and Staff Auditor

DeLeon & Stang Certified Public Accountants and Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of Saidu Hasim-Cole and Delmas Lake to their professional team.Hasim-Cole joins the team as a staff accountant in the Business Services Department. He specializes in general accounting and tax work for small- and medium-sized businesses. Lake will serve as a staff auditor and will focus on performing audits, reviews, and compilations for non-profits, credit unions, and low-income housing.“We are thrilled to welcome Saidu and Delmas to the team,” said Richard Stang, CPA, ABV, PFS, Partner. “We are confident these new team members will bring a fresh perspective to their roles at DeLeon & Stang.”Hasim-Cole holds an Associate’s degree in accounting from Gwinnett Technical College. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland’s University College. Born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Hasim-Cole came to the US in 1990 and currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.Delmas graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland’s University College. Raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Delmas currently resides in North Bethesda.
