DeLeon & Stang Announces New Promotion

DeLeon & Stang Certified Public Accountants and Advisors is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin Madden, CPA, CAMS, CGMA to manager. Madden first worked with DeLeon & Stang from 2011 to 2015; he returned to the firm in 2018 as an audit supervisor. In his new capacity as manager of the firm’s Credit Union Department, he plays an integral role in directing the firm’s focus and operations as it serves credit union clients. Madden’s responsibilities also include credit union financial statement audits and regulatory compliance exams, risk assessment and control implementation, and firm business development and marketing efforts in the greater Boston area. “I am very pleased to have Kevin stepping into this key leadership role,” said Richard Stang, CPA, ABV, PFS, Partner. “He is a knowledgeable and reliable professional, and I expect that he will excel as the manager of our Credit Union Department.”Madden holds a Master of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). Raised in Long Island as a young child and Orlando as a teen, Madden now resides in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife, Kristin, and their two children, Aiden and Emma.
