DeLeon & Stang Bolsters Team with Fresh Perspectives

FREDERICK, MD, May 1, 2024—DeLeon & Stang is proud to announce the expansion of its team with five new members. Alex Myers, Kelcie Degenfelder, Cristina Delatorre, and Andrew Gardiner have risen from the ranks of interns to full-time positions. They are joined by freshly recruited talent, Taylor Chapman. Together, this group significantly enhances the firm’s capabilities and expertise.

Meet the Latest Additions
Taylor Chapman, Operational Support
Taylor joined the team in April 2024 as Operational Support. She manages administrative tasks, coordinates schedules, and facilitates day-to-day operations.
“Stepping into this team feels like the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” said Taylor. “I can’t wait to grow and make an impact alongside a group of dedicated professionals.”
Alex Myers, Staff Auditor
Alex started in January 2024 as an Audit Intern and has now joined the team as a full-time Staff Auditor. He works with various nonprofit clients and those needing a single audit.
“I’m filled with excitement as I think about my newfound career,” said Alex. “I look forward to using my quick learning abilities and affinity for numbers to better assist our clients.”
Kelcie Degenfelder, Staff Accountant
Kelcie started in January 2024 as a Tax Intern and has now joined the team as a full-time Staff Accountant. She manages tax preparation for business clients, ensuring efficient and accurate filing.
“I’m eager to continue my career at D&S,” said Kelcie. “I am thankful for the opportunity to grow within such a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.”
Cristina Delatorre, Staff Accountant
Cristina started in January 2024 as a Tax Intern and has now joined the team as a full-time Staff Accountant. She is responsible for preparing business tax returns and providing advisory services for the firm.
“Every day, I’m surrounded by a group of professionals who are incredibly supportive and encouraging,” said Cristina. “I feel lucky to be part of such a team.”
Andrew Gardiner, Staff Accountant
Andrew started in January 2024 as a Tax Intern and has now joined the team as a full-time Staff Accountant. He is responsible for tax preparation and data management.
