DeLeon & Stang Supports Local Students Through United Way's "Stuff the Bus" 2025 Initiative
Frederick, MD – September 2, 2025 – DeLeon & Stang successfully completed another year of participation in United Way of Frederick’s annual "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive, collecting hundreds of essential items for local students in need.
From June 3 through August 4, 2025, the DeLeon & Stang team served as a collection point for the community-wide initiative, gathering critical school supplies that will directly benefit children throughout Frederick County. The firm's efforts resulted in an impressive collection including:
450 pencils
100 glue sticks
50 packs of wide-ruled paper (100 sheets each)
50 one-subject spiral notebooks
48 college-ruled composition books
40 packs of colored pencils
24 packs of crayons
24 plastic two-pocket folders
12 three-ring binders (one inch)
One case of college-ruled notebook paper
Following the collection period, United Way volunteers arrived at the DeLeon & Stang offices with the signature yellow school bus to transport all donated supplies directly to distribution centers.
"Stuff the Bus represents an excellent opportunity to help children in Frederick County who wouldn’t otherwise have access to necessary school supplies,” said the firm’s Managing Partner Brad Hoffman. "This initiative provides our firm with a meaningful way to give back to the community in a collaborative and impactful manner."
Building on another year of success, DeLeon & Stang has committed to participating in the Stuff the Bus initiative again next summer, reinforcing the firm's ongoing dedication to community support and educational equity.
