DeLeon & Stang Helps Build Hope from Home with Habitat For Humanity

GAITHERSBURG, MD, October 15, 2020—DeLeon & Stang sponsored the annual Building Hope from Home Morning Mixer. The mixer benefits Habitat for Humanity of Metro Maryland and its mission to provide affordable housing to Metro Maryland. This year’s event was hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Co-Founding Partner Allen DeLeon attended the event on behalf of the firm.
“We’ve worked alongside Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland for many years,” said Allen DeLeon. “We are grateful to continue our support virtually during these turbulent times and help out families in our community.”
Habitat for Humanity’s “Building Hope from Home” initiative allows community members to work projects from home with a materials kit shipped straight to their door. Participants then donate the finished projects, like Adirondack chairs, to a Habitat Repair Partner to be given to a family in need. Participants can also work alongside one another virtually by attending a group building session via zoom.
