DeLeon & Stang Hosts Firm Open House for Local University Students & Faculty

FREDERICK, MD, Dec 12, 2023—DeLeon & Stang opened the doors of its Frederick office to local college students and faculty for their inaugural firm open house on November 8th. The event was designed to give the firm’s local school partners and students the chance to visit the office, meet the team, and learn more about career opportunities at DeLeon & Stang.
Local universities in attendance included Frederick Community College, Hagerstown Community College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Hood College, and Shepherd University. In addition to the students and faculty, Debbie Streeton from the Frederick Chamber of Commerce also stopped by.
“We really enjoyed having everyone at the Frederick office!” said DeLeon & Stang Managing Partner Brad Hoffman. “Our team has partnered with many of these local universities over the years, and it was great to get to engage with them on a personal level.”
Students were able to meet the majority of the firm’s Frederick office team and get a glimpse of life at DeLeon & Stang through the educational opportunities, including tours, informational sessions, and Q&As with DeLeon & Stang team members. This event was organized by Deleon and Stang’s Diana Contreras and Maggie Sideras.
“It’s always so encouraging to meet students who are interested in what we do, and we hope these events help get them prepared and excited about the next chapter of their lives after graduation,” said Brad Hoffman.
Due to the amount of positive feedback, the firm plans to host more open house events at the Frederick office in May or September of 2024.
