DeLeon & Stang Educates with Junior Achievement

DeLeon & Stang had a great time volunteering with Junior Achievement of Greater Washington. We came to Clemente Middle School in Germantown, Maryland, and taught students about economics and finance. The students learned about financial responsibility in classrooms with volunteers from DeLeon & Stang and other local businesses. We enjoyed interacting with them and helping them to learn skills applicable to the real world. It was fulfilling to see the students eager to learn skills that their parents use on a daily basis, as these fundamentals are important to build at a young age. “As we are also members of this community, it is important for us to seek out opportunities to help others,” stated Richard Stang, CPA, ABV, PFS, Partner with DeLeon & Stang CPAs and Advisors. “Admittedly, volunteering here was rewarding for us too. I was inspired by how these young people were eager to learn about financial responsibility and economics.”Read more about Junior Achievement.
