Tax Manager

Doug joined the DeLeon and Stang team in December 2024 as a Tax Manager, bringing 12 years of accounting experience. He specializes in business and individual taxes, with a focus on pass-through entities and C corporations. Doug's passion for accounting was inspired by a high school teacher who made the subject enjoyable and showed him how practical and beneficial accounting is in the real world.

Known for being passionate, energetic, and always open to learning, Doug takes great pride in his work and is dedicated to making his clients happy. He draws motivation from the quote, "A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life," by John Wooden—a philosophy he brings into his professional life and while coaching his teams.

Currently residing in Ijamsville, MD, Doug enjoys coaching, watching sports, golfing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He has been married to his amazing wife, Amanda, for almost 10 years, and together they have two wonderful children. Doug also loves visiting the beach, where he finds time to relax and create lasting memories.
