DeLeon & Stang was proud to sponsor the Inaugural Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation Golf Tournament on May 2, 2016. Jody Vilardo was a partner at DeLeon & Stang prior to retiring in 2007. She and her husband were generous members of the local community until their lives were tragically ended in May 2015. The Foundation was established by their children shortly thereafter in order to continue the Vilardos’ mission of giving to others. DeLeon & Stang had two foursomes playing in the tournament. Many staff members also participated in the Friends of Jody event arranging flowers and putting together art packages for those at The Children’s Inn at NIH, which was one of the many organizations the Vilardos supported during their lives. “As members of the community, we are always looking for ways to give back,” stated Allen DeLeon CPA, PFS, CITP, Partner with DeLeon & Stang CPAs and Advisors. “This event was particularly special for DeLeon & Stang. Many of us who were at the firm during Jody’s time here remain close to the Vilardo family. Jody was not only a partner but she and Dick were dear friends of ours.
