FREDERICK, MD, Oct 24, 2023—The team at DeLeon & Stang took strides for breast cancer on October 15th to support the American Cancer Society at their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser. The group from DeLeon & Stang raised funds and awareness and walked 3.13 miles through Mt. Airy Park in Mt. Airy, Maryland.

This is the 7th year the firm has participated in this fundraiser, and it plans to return again for many years to come. This year, the team included Rich Stang, Clint Lehman, Michele Mills, Jaime Senior, Mackenzie Farran, and Ryan Crabbs. Together, the group raised over $750 to support breast cancer research by the American Cancer Society.

“Our team was excited to participate in Making Strides again this year,” said Rich Stang, Co-Founder of DeLeon & Stang. “Breast cancer research is something that is very important to our firm as we have team members who have had loved ones affected by it. We are honored to help support both research efforts and survivors.”

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer hosts thousands of walks annually around the country. The American Cancer Society uses donations for a wide variety of services, including research towards preventing and treating the disease, supporting people living with breast cancer with a 24/7 cancer helpline, and educating people on how to reduce their risk of developing cancer.
